The hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean but basic.

Although the tram runs in front of the hotel, it is quite a distance to the city centre. It is located in the convention area of town which is not remotely interesting.

The place was modern and good standard, nothing too much trouble, recommend. The location in a really quiet area was particularly good and there were shopping centres and a market nearby. Also, it was 3 km from a Government plaza. The property was so close to a tram station...

Helpful staf, clean rooms, good location, worth the price

Great business hotel, right on the tram which in 10 min takes you into Bern, where you can connect to go anywhere in Switzerland. very clean and great staff.

room carpet was stained, it is not in Bern city center, and there is nothing nearby for sight seeing, but these are easy to get over.

There is a very very good breakfast for a start. It offers air-conditioned and well laid out rooms, and has caring staff at the receptionist. The location is central.

Nothing all good!

Hotels in Bern are expensive, really expensive (the Swiss Franc doesn't help). Although not quite cheap, this Novotel is very good - large rooms, good services, good parking - and relatively affordable. It's not central but it's very well connected to city centre by tram (10 minutes).

Easy access to the city center both by car and tram the tram stop was directly across from the hotel and the area was very quiet

Polite and efficient staff. Good value for money (it is Switzerland after all!). Location and transport links to heart of city very good or can walk 20 mins to city or 15 mins to Paul Klee Centre

Breakfast not included in price and very expensive to buy although basic coffee and croissant available as alternative to full buffet at less than half the cost.

Access to parking was difficult with only 1 elevator going down at that was often full whet it arrived with people from the lobby wanting to ho up to their room. We eventually walked up the ramp outside

Functional and bright, with convenient garage underneath and plenty of luggage trolleys available. Very convenient for the No.9 tram which reaches the centre ofBern in less than 10 minutes and runs late at night.

Breakfast overpriced at 25 CHF per head.

We enjoyed our stay with a free mini bar and great breakfast selections that made mornings enjoyable. The room was spacious, providing plenty of comfort during our time.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel provides free WiFi access (but only at 1f lobby).

Little bit far from Bern central. But it does not matter so much because a tram station is very near.

Excellent beds, bathroom seperate from wc, nice size room, good breakfast, very effective check out, great location.

To get a good price I paid up front - fair enough. But even so I had already paid before I even checked in the front staff insisted that she took yet another deposit of 100 Swiss Francs "just in case" - very poor customer service in this moment. Also Internet was expensive.

Perfect stay in the heart of the city

We enjoyed a spacious Executive room, complete with a free mini bar and a coffee machine. The buffet breakfast was delicious, too! Just wish there was a mirror in the bedroom. Felt a bit cramped in the bathroom with all the mirrors there.
